Grape White Diamond is a heritage variety, a cross of Concord and Iona from the 1880s, also known as Moore’s Diamond. This cultivar offers a delicately flavored, sweet, and juicy taste with a mild, not overly foxy, flavor profile. The harvest time is mid-season, ripening about two weeks earlier than its Concord parent. With vigorous growth, this vine is adaptable to various soils and climates and is considered to have good disease resistance. It’s a self-fertile variety, so it doesn’t require a pollinator. This grape is excellent for fresh eating, juicing, and making white wine or champagne.
